Mr. Elia Mbise

Mr. Elia Mbise is a Managing Director of Business Consultancy firm namely EAC Capacity Building Center. He is also a Lecturer at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA)  Mr. Mbise specializes in Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Strategic Management, Marketing, Customer care, team building and Performance Management. 

Previously Mr. Elia Mbise served as Head of Business Management Department at Mwenge University College of Education (the then Constituent College of Saint Augustine University) and Associate HoD Business Management at Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA). He has a Master degree in Human Resources Management (MHRM), Master of Science in Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Business Administration and Diploma in Education. Currently he is pursuing a PhD in Business Management at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU)



Mr. Thomas Sommy

Mr. Thomas Sommy is a Lecturer and Certified Director working with Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) and Director of Global Capacity Building Initiatives. Mr. Sommy specializes in Human Resource Management, Leadership and Governance, Strategic Management, Organization Development, Policies and Performance Management. Mr. Sommy is a resource person at Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI). 

He has a wider experience in conducting trainings in Performance Management and appraisal systems, Team Building, Result Based Management, Business Continuity Plan, Strategic Human Resource Management and Good customer care. He has an experience in training Banks in the area of Customer care and good customer services. These Banks are TPB bank and PBZ bank. Previously Mr. Sommy served as Human Resource Manager at Stefano Moshi Memorial University College and Dean of Students before joining Institute of Accountancy Arusha. Mr. Sommy has Master of Science in human Resources Management, Bachelor of Education and currently he is doing a PhD in management from Management and Science University-Kuala Lumpur Malaysia



Christopher J Kawishe

Christopher James is an educator, researcher, technologist, and digital transformation strategist with a decade of professional experience in higher education, digital systems, and consultancy. He currently serves as an Assistant Lecturer and Academic Programme Leader at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha, where he leads initiatives in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blended learning, and system development.

Christopher’s career bridges education, technology, and leadership. He has designed and implemented digital platforms serving thousands of users, contributed to the development of curricula in AI and computing, and advanced the adoption of eLearning and competency-based education in Tanzania’s higher education sector. His research and professional interests span AI, cybersecurity, teaching innovation, and institutional digital transformation.
